NANO GUARD technology consists of three levels of bacteria breakdown. At the fiber level, certain polymers are mixed in during the processing of the fibers, creating an antibacterial fiber. At the additive level, a chemical is added which inhibits the growth of microorganisms on the fibers. At the coating level, an additional chemical is added to prevent bacteria from growing by breaking down its cell wall.
